At SonShine Kids Early Education, our mission is to nurture young children in a loving, Christ-centered environment that inspires a lifelong love of learning. We are committed to preparing children for kindergarten by fostering growth in social skills, academic readiness, emotional resilience, and spiritual development. Through intentional care and guided exploration, we help each child thrive as the unique and wonderful creation God made them to be.

About Us
About Becky
I am a licensed child care provider through the State of Michigan, with certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid. My passion for working with children began early in life and has grown through decades of hands-on experience in churches, schools, and daycare centers. I hold an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Ashworth College in Georgia, and have completed over four years of Elementary Education coursework at Cornerstone University and Grand Valley State University.
I am deeply committed to creating a nurturing, faith-based learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired. I continually seek out new knowledge and innovative approaches to early education, always striving to better serve the amazing blessings God places in my care.

About Mark
I am a retired chaplain and Christian counselor with a deep love for guiding children as they grow into their best selves. Rooted in Christian grace and duty, I respond to each child’s needs with compassion, patience, and love throughout their time with us.
I believe that every child is uniquely created in the image of God, with the freedom to think, feel, and act as individuals. This understanding shapes the way I support and nurture their emotional and spiritual development.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Tripp Bible Institute, and I am honored to be part of a program that values both faith and the holistic growth of every child.
